Who are we
The North West London Health Academy is founded by the Mayor’s Academies Programme hub and was established on the 1st of January 2022.
The Academy will focus primarily on the Health sector, including primary care employers, in NWL to support integration and ensure that employment and skill interventions are service user centred
Our aim is to address short, medium and long-term vacancy and skills gaps in the NHS through developing on long-standing partnership and our plan is to:
- Develop and design training and skills programmes
- Focus on creating employment opportunities for underrepresented groups, those with special education needs and young people within our region
- Introduce new clinical and non-clinical roles
- Ensure job opportunities have a clear career pathway
